About the Office

GW offers students numerous opportunities to pursue their academic interests with various disciplines, degrees, schools, and campuses. To accommodate that variety, GW's Student Accounts Office has developed a robust, complex system to manage the assignment of student charges, financial aid and scholarships, and collection of tuition and fees.

Our Role

SAIG performs many activities to facilitate this process, including the building, maintenance and application of tuition, fee and refund schedules within the Student Information System, the generation and distribution of electronic invoices and statements, management of online payment methods, production and distribution of 1098Ts .We also provide guidance to a variety of departments across the University with issues spanning the entire student billing to cash spectrum. In addition, SAIG is responsible for identifying business intelligence and other business process needs along the billing to cash process flow, designing and developing solutions to those needs, and fully managing the life cycle of those projects to implement those solutions.
